Wire mesh cable tray (basket tray)
Short answer
Wire mesh cable tray is a basket-shaped tray made of steel wires welded into a grid. It is light, gives maximum ventilation, and can be cut and bent on site without prefabricated fittings. It is well suited to data, fiber and control cables in data centers, office buildings and server rooms.

Is wire mesh as strong as sheet-steel cable tray?
For data cables and light cables, wire mesh is more than adequate. For heavy power cables and long spans, sheet-steel cable tray or cable ladder remains the better choice.
