Short answer: To order cable tray or cable ladder from a supplier in Bekasi and Cikarang, send a layout drawing, a BOQ or a cable list, and state the type, width, height, plate thickness, finish and the quantities of fittings and supports. Add the plot location and the unloading rules of the industrial estate. With that data the quotation can be priced per component, and the delivery schedule is confirmed in writing in the quotation.
Why complete order data speeds up your quotation
A request that only says "cable tray 300, 100 lengths" can trigger repeated rounds of questions. The supplier needs to know the tray type, rail height, plate thickness and finish before pricing, because each of them changes the cost.
Projects in the Bekasi and Cikarang corridor are varied: data centers, automotive and component plants, electronics, and logistics. Their cable routing needs differ, so a complete specification from the start saves time for procurement and for the engineers.
Ponggawa supplies cable tray, cable ladder, cable duct, raceway, wiremesh and their accessories. The products are made by a partner manufacturer in Bekasi that holds ISO 9001:2015 certification, and Ponggawa handles the quotation, production coordination, visual quality control and delivery to the project site. The Indonesian version of this site has a dedicated page for the Bekasi and Cikarang service area.
Data to prepare for a cable tray quotation in Bekasi and Cikarang
This table summarizes the minimum content of a request for quotation. If some items are not final yet, write down your assumptions so they can be corrected in a revision.
Data | Example | Why it is needed |
|---|---|---|
Base documents | Route layout drawing, BOQ or cable list | Basis for counting straights, fittings and supports |
System | Perforated cable tray (type U or type C), cable ladder (type U, type W or heavy duty), wiremesh, cable duct, raceway | Each system has its own rail shape and accessories |
Size | Width x height per route, for example 300 x 100 mm | Determines the material per 3,000 mm length |
Plate thickness | 1.8 to 2.0 mm, or another thickness to order | Affects both stiffness and cost |
Finish | Hot dip galvanized, electro galvanized or powder coating (RAL code) | Determines the coating process and the cost |
Fittings | Number of elbows, tees, crosses, reducers and risers per size | Easily missed when only the route length is counted |
Supports and accessories | Brackets, hanger beams and M10 hanger rods, join sets, hold down clamps, covers, cover clamps, separators, end plates | Complete one route so it can be installed |
Delivery location | Estate name, plot number, permitted unloading hours | Used to plan the trucks and the entry permit |
For a more detailed list of accessory line items, read cable tray accessories in a project BOQ. If the tray width has not yet been calculated from the number of cables, start with how to size a cable tray, or use the cable tray calculator on the Indonesian site. For sizing questions, use the contact page.
Product specifications you can check when the goods arrive
Ponggawa cable tray and cable ladder use hot rolled sheet steel SPHC with a plate thickness of 1.8 to 2.0 mm; other thicknesses can be ordered. The standard length is 3,000 mm, and the design follows NEMA VE 1. How to state the plate thickness per component is explained in the article on cable tray and cable ladder plate thickness.
For power routes, also send the support span and the cable load. As a reference, an independent laboratory tested a type W cable ladder, 1,000 mm wide, 100 mm high, with 2.0 mm plate, made by the partner manufacturer, at a 2.5 m span. The result was 360 kg at the 10 mm deflection limit (1/250 of the span, NEMA VE 1 class 10A), and the sample carried up to 550 kg per span. Actual capacity depends on the width, rail height, plate thickness and support spacing, so ask for a calculation for your configuration.
The plate thickness, finish and reference standard are stated in the quotation. Your site team can check them against the delivered goods before the material handover.
Choosing the finish for each area in Bekasi and Cikarang
For production areas and outdoor routes in this corridor, the finish used is hot dip galvanized. In this process the steel is dipped in molten zinc after fabrication, so cut edges and holes are coated as well.
For data centers, powder coating is used when color and route identification matter. Electro galvanized suits dry indoor spaces, such as panel rooms or office buildings.
Data center projects in the Bekasi and Cikarang corridor can order a combination of cable ladder from 600 to 1,000 mm for power cables and wiremesh for fiber on one delivery schedule. List both systems in one request for quotation so their schedule is planned together.
Ordering process, from request to goods on your plot

- Send the documents. Attach the layout drawing, BOQ or cable list through the contact page or WhatsApp, together with the project name and plot location.
- Clarify the specification. If some data is not final, for example the rail height or the finish, write down your assumptions or answer the clarification questions before the quotation is priced.
- Receive the quotation. Prices are stated per component, while VAT (PPN) and delivery to the project site are stated separately. Straights, fittings, supports, hold down clamps and bolts are priced together from your BOQ or layout.
- Confirm the schedule. Ask for the delivery schedule to be written in the quotation or the PO confirmation, including any phased delivery you need to follow the sequence of installation work.
- Arrange estate access. Share the estate entry permit procedure, unloading hours and plot access conditions so the truck type can be matched.
- Receive and check the goods. Goods are bundled per size. Check the size, plate thickness and finish against the quotation during unloading.
Delivery to industrial estates
Goods are shipped from Bekasi by single-axle (engkel) or CDD truck directly to the project site, including into industrial estates under their entry permit procedures. Estates in this corridor include Jababeka, MM2100, EJIP, GIIC Deltamas, Lippo Cikarang and Hyundai Cikarang.
The estate management sets the permitted unloading hours. For that reason, the delivery location data should already be in the request for quotation, not sent only when the truck leaves.
Projects in Karawang, for example in KIIC, can use Fuso trucks or trailers for large volumes, as long as plot access allows it. The Indonesian version of this site has a separate page for Karawang.
What affects the quoted figure
Prices are not shown on the site. Cost is driven by width, height, plate thickness, finish, the number of fittings and the order quantity. Delivery cost is calculated separately according to the project location.
Two BOQs with the same route length can produce different figures if they differ in the number of bends and branches. That is why fittings and supports should be listed per size, not grouped as a "lot". To have these cost factors applied to your BOQ, request a quotation through the contact page.
Send your BOQ for a quotation
Prepare the layout drawing, BOQ or cable list, then send it through the contact page together with the plot location. The Ponggawa team prepares a complete quotation, from straights down to bolts, with specifications you can check when the goods arrive. Office hours are Monday to Friday 08:00 to 17:00 WIB, and Saturday 08:00 to 13:00 WIB.
Frequently asked questions
What data does a supplier need to quote cable tray?
At a minimum, a layout drawing, BOQ or cable list, plus the system type, width, height, plate thickness and finish. Also state the number of fittings, the supports and accessories needed, and the delivery location. If the data is not complete, write down your assumptions so the quotation can be priced and then revised.
How is the delivery schedule confirmed?
The delivery schedule is confirmed in writing in the quotation or when the PO is confirmed, not promised at the start of the conversation. Share the date you need and the sequence of work on site. If you need phased delivery, ask for the split to be written in the same document.
Can you deliver to the project site?
Yes. Goods are shipped from Bekasi by truck directly to the project site, including into estates such as Jababeka or MM2100 under their entry permit procedures. Send the estate name, plot number and the unloading hours permitted by the estate management so the trucks can be matched.
Is the delivery cost included in the price of the goods?
No. The quotation states prices per component, while VAT (PPN) and delivery to the project site are stated separately. This lets you compare material cost and delivery cost separately.
